At The New Mill, we develop events that satisfy our own appetites for good company; a relaxed, warm and friendly environment, fabulous food and wonderful wine.

It goes without saying that, for each event, Head Chef, Colin Robson-Wright and his great team prepare specially developed and delightful menus to complement each individual theme, using fresh, seasonal and local food to emphasise the natural flavours of the primary ingredients to indulge the diners' taste-buds.

Wine Dinner: The Spanish Revolution

Paul Shinnie, renowned as both ‘the Godfather of Spanish wines’ in this country and as somewhat of an eccentric joins us this evening to host an evening dedicated to the pleasures of Spain. Cava on arrival will be followed by delightful tapas and a full Spanish-themed menu with accompanying fabulous wines from across the Spanish landscape.

The wines we have chosen have the commonality of being gorgeous. After that, we invite you to meander and indulge in wines whose attributes range from those of freshand firm, sleek and polished, through plush, intense, complex and opulent, to alluring, rich, voluptuous and seductive.

Sun, passion and an ingrained belief in enjoying life always seem central to the Spanish culture. In this evening, these attributes will found in both the wine and the food; our entertainment and attention to detail guided by Mr. Shinnie!
